Handmade Products & Care
Are your products truly handmade?
Yes — every piece in our collection is handcrafted by skilled Alberta artisans. From hand-stitched leather goods and hand-painted watercolor cards to hand-rolled silk scarves and individually set jewelry, each item carries the mark of the maker. Some pieces are entirely one-of-a-kind.
Polyester hats are sourced and hat bands hand made.
Vintage hats are sourced locally and are made of wool, beaver and fur felts.
How should I care for my leather goods?
- Keep away from prolonged moisture and direct sunlight.
- Condition regularly with a quality leather conditioner to maintain suppleness.
- Store in a cool, dry place — ideally in a dust bag when not in use.
- Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
With proper care, your leather piece will develop a beautiful patina and last for decades.
How do I care for silk scarves?
- Hand wash gently in cool water with a mild silk-safe detergent, or dry clean.
- Do not wring or tumble dry — lay flat or hang to air dry away from direct sunlight.
- Iron on the lowest setting with a pressing cloth if needed.
How do I care for fine jewelry?
- Remove before swimming, bathing, or exercising.
- Store separately to avoid scratching — a soft pouch or lined box works well.
- Clean gently with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals.
How are my items packaged?
Your order will arrive thoughtfully packaged to protect it during transit and make it gift-ready. We use quality materials that reflect the care that went into crafting each piece. We're also mindful of minimizing unnecessary packaging waste.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Our standard packaging is already presentation-quality and suitable for gifting. If you have a special request, please reach out before placing your order and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Custom Orders
Can I order a custom watercolor card?
Yes! Custom watercolor cards are available. Please contact us with your vision — subject, occasion, colour palette, and any other details — and we'll work with you to create something truly personal. Custom orders require additional lead time and are non-refundable.
Can I request custom sizes or colors for other products?
Some of our artisans do accept custom commissions for select product categories. Availability varies by maker and season. Get in touch with your request and we'll let you know what's possible.
What is your sustainability commitment?
We believe in making things that last. By supporting Alberta artisans and choosing handcrafted over mass-produced, you're already making a more sustainable choice. We prioritize quality materials, ethical sourcing, and minimal waste in our packaging — because purpose-driven fashion shouldn't cost the earth.
